What we do

Good Bricks Ventures promotes urban economic revitalization and the reduction of longstanding racial economic disparities in American communities. Our work focuses within urban areas where economic progress has been limited by high, persistent rates of concentrated poverty and unemployment.

We support resident business owners who are also respected community leaders. As their businesses grow these leaders create good local jobs, and as they build wealth they reinvest continuously to revitalize their own community economies. We provide capital either as business loans or as equity investments, and we connect entrepreneurs to regional business networks, especially in high-growth "innovation economy" sectors with global markets.

Our partners include individual investors, investment collectives, giving circles, for-profit corporations, banks, government agencies, and philanthropic foundations.
